CREDIT & COLLECTIONS
SPECIALIST:
Experienced C&C Specialist needed
for progressive, full-service agriculture retailer in Northern IL.
Individual should have excellent customer service, negotiation,
communication and analytical skills.
Minimum 3-5 years direct experience; knowledge of collection/bankruptcy
laws; proficiency with MS Office. Degree in Accounting desirable.
Farm background a plus.
Duties will include:
o Interface with salespeople re: credit apps/delinquent
account reports/cash application.
o Review credit applications & perform TransUnion credit reviews.
o Recommend credit limits & status changes for CFO/CEO approval.
o Modify and maintain company credit policy document(s) per CFO
direction.
o Send letters granting/denying/revoking credit.
o Coordinate necessary legal action on small-to-mid sized accounts.
o Support implementation and management of third party or Hintzsche
financing programs (Farm Plan/Rabo Agrifinance).
o Manage production and analysis of daily/weekly/monthly reports
on credit & A/R trends and customer behaviors.
o Work with CFO to develop in-season & out-of-season work plan
for the position.
Salary dependent upon work experience and education. Includes full
